Following reports on social media about the leakage of citizens' personal data, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that an investigation has been launched. We are talking about data related to the SAFE Service platform, which previously operated under the name “Safe Road”.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reports are circulating on social media that personal data related to the SAFE Service platform, developed and operated by “AUTODOC” LLC, has been disclosed.
Currently, the authenticity of these reports, the source from which the data originated, and how it was distributed are being studied.
The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the “Cybersecurity Center” state institution under the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and officials of “AUTODOC” LLC.
Additionally, it is being determined whether there are any cases related to the leakage of personal data in SAFE Service and other relevant information systems and electronic platforms.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, additional official information will be provided regarding the cases identified upon the completion of the studies. If the spreading reports are not confirmed, the causes and sources of their origin will also be announced.
