Children poisoning in Fergana: official commentary provided on the court verdict

An official commentary has been provided on the court verdict regarding the criminal case involving the mass poisoning of over 100 children in Fergana. The defendants were found guilty and sentenced accordingly.

In the criminal case reviewed by the Furkat district court, the head, technologist, director, and accountant of "Garden catering trade" LLC were found guilty by a verdict dated September 21, 2026.

When determining the sentence, the court took into account the defendants' sincere remorse for their actions, their lack of previous convictions, the full compensation for the damage caused to the victims, and the statement by the legal representatives of the victims that there are no claims.

Additionally, since the defendants were considered business entities, they were not sentenced to deprivation of certain rights.

At present, no appeals have been filed against the court verdict. However, dissatisfied parties have the right to file an appeal or cassation complaint, as well as a protest with the Fergana regional court in the manner and within the timeframe established by law.

The official commentary of the court did not specify the exact type and term of the sentence imposed on the defendants.
