A 24-year-old man died after falling from the 15th floor in Fergana
According to preliminary information, he threw himself down. The man had previously been treated at a mental health center several times. An investigation into the incident is underway.
In the city of Fergana, a 24-year-old man died as a result of falling from the 15th floor of a multi-story building. This was reported by the "Millar" program, citing Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office.
The incident occurred on October 26 at around 18:30. A citizen born in 2002 fell from the 15th floor of a multi-story building on Tarona street in the "Shakarqishloq" neighborhood. According to preliminary information, he threw himself down.
It turned out that due to schizophrenia, the young man had been treated several times at the Fergana regional branch of the psychiatric service of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Mental Health.
A forensic medical examination has been ordered in connection with the incident. Currently, the Fergana city prosecutor's office is conducting pre-investigation checks aimed at clarifying the causes of the incident.
