President Shavkat Mirziyoyev looked around with the activities of the Digitalized Management Center of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combinat.

Getting acquainted with the activities of the center, the President noted that there are great opportunities to increase efficiency through artificial intelligence, especially in the mining and metallurgical sectors.

At the same time, special attention was paid to the need to widely introduce modern resource-saving technologies in order to rationally use water resources.

At the same time, the head of state was presented with plans for further digitalization of production and technological processes of the plant.

As noted, all processes from mining to the production of finished products are being gradually digitized. In the next five years, it is planned to widely introduce artificial intelligence solutions at each stage.

On the basis of geological and surveying data collected for eighty years, information was also provided about the progress of work on the digitization of deposits. In particular, the "Digital Mine" system allows setting the exact directions of daily, weekly and monthly excavation activities.

On the basis of artificial intelligence, the condition of the quarry roads is monitored, the pressure and temperature of the dump truck tires are monitored by sensors. As a result of this continuous monitoring, the service life of the tires has been increased by 14 percent.

One of the priority tasks in the field is the training of specialists who have mastered modern technologies, training of personnel on the basis of new working methods and digital solutions. Special attention was also paid to the issue of expanding the scope of patent cases.

The need to patent scientific and technological solutions used at each stage of the factory, to strengthen cooperation with authorized organizations in this regard, to identify promising innovative directions was emphasized.

As noted, a new patent means a new technology, a new line of production and new markets. Taking into account the fact that the rich raw material base in our country creates ample opportunities for entering world markets, the task was set to develop specific approaches to how many more patents can be obtained in which promising areas in 2026.
