Reports on social media regarding the disconnection of electric vehicle charging stations from the power grid have sparked public dissatisfaction.

Kobljon Tursunov, Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on Budget and Economic Issues, sent a senator's inquiry to Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamaxmudov regarding the operation of electric vehicle charging stations.

Developing electric vehicles in the country, expanding the infrastructure of charging stations, and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly transport are considered pressing issues.

In recent years, civil society, entrepreneurs, and responsible organizations have carried out a number of works to establish and maintain electric vehicle charging stations.

At the same time, conducted analyses show that certain problems exist in this field. In particular, reports have spread on social media about cases of temporarily disconnecting charging stations intended for electric vehicles and rechargeable hybrid vehicles from the power grid and restricting their operation.

These situations have caused dissatisfaction among the public.

In this regard, Qobuljon Tursunov, Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on Budget and Economic Issues, sent a senator's inquiry to Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamaxmudov.

In the senator's inquiry, it was requested to provide grounded information on the reasons for disconnecting charging stations intended for electric vehicles and rechargeable hybrid vehicles from the power grid, the work being done to support the operation of these stations, plans for infrastructure development, and measures aimed at preventing such situations in the future.
