A criminal case initiated against the developer of the "Bahor Residence" residential complex in Tashkent is being heard in the Mirobod District Court. Within the framework of the case, charges such as fraud, abuse of official authority, official forgery, and legalization of income obtained through criminal activities have been brought against 6 defendants.
It is noted that the investigation was conducted by the General Prosecutor's Office Department for Investigating Especially Serious Crimes. Among the defendants is Khurshid Ahmedov, the founder and head of "Bahor Residence" LLC.
According to investigative information, he is accused of crimes related to several articles of the Criminal Code — fraud on an especially large scale, abuse of official authority, official forgery, and money laundering.
Five other individuals are also being tried within the criminal case, specifically Anvar Ahmadjonov, Gʻulom Azimov, Shahriddin Sharobiddinov, Khurshid Khojakulov, and Aziz Khudoynazarov are on trial. 70 citizens are registered as victims in the documents.
Notably, the "Bahor Residence" project was implemented under the Xon Saroy brand. In the contracts concluded with investors, "Xonsaroy Group" LLC is indicated as the legal commercial representative of this construction company.
According to Kun.uz source, custody has been applied as a preventive measure against all those on trial. At the same time, a separate case is being considered in the administrative court regarding the invalidation of certain construction documents issued for the "Bahor Residence" residential complex. The application of the Tashkent City Prosecutor requests the cancellation of the architectural and reconstruction conclusion issued for the construction. The court hearing of the case is scheduled for today, May 12, at 15:00 at the Mirobod court.
Recall that in November 2025, reports circulated on social networks that inspections had begun regarding some of Xon Saroy's construction projects. The company did not provide any absolute comments on this situation.
For information, Xon Saroy is one of the major developers in Tashkent, and the company was previously known among users for handing over projects on time.
