JSC Tashkent Metro issued an official response to this question.
"False reports are being circulated on social networks claiming that the monthly wages of cleaning staff working at JSC Tashkent Metro are either not being paid on time or not being paid at all.
Regarding these groundless claims, JSC Tashkent Metro officially states the following.
First of all, the labor of employees working in the company, particularly cleaners, is duly appreciated. Timely and full payment of their wages has been one of the priority issues under the constant attention of the company's administration.
Contrary to the claims made, the wage amounts of metro employees have increased significantly in recent years.
In particular, while the average monthly wage of JSC Tashkent Metro employees was 2.8 million soms in 2021, today this figure has reached 8.4 million soms. Furthermore, during 2026, the average monthly wages of employees were increased by another 20 percent.
Directly addressing the cleaning staff, in 2021 their average monthly wage was around 1 million soms. Currently, depending on work experience and relevant labor conditions, the monthly wage of this category of employees has reached an average of 6 to 7 million soms.
Most importantly, the wages calculated for employees in the company are paid regularly and continuously at the beginning of each month in the established manner. Claims that wages are not being paid or are being withheld are completely untrue.
At this point, we specifically emphasize that it is unacceptable to spread unverified information on social networks, make groundless accusations, and popularize information that damages the business reputation of the organization.
The public dissemination of any information does not exclude responsibility for its accuracy. Current legislation establishes relevant legal liability measures regarding the dissemination of false and untruthful information, as well as information that damages the business reputation of the organization. In the event of law violations, it is inevitable that measures provided for by legislation will be taken against the guilty parties.
JSC Tashkent Metro urges social network activists and page administrators speaking on this topic to rely on concrete facts rather than assumptions and one-sided conclusions. If there is grounded evidence regarding the claims being made, we are ready to present it within the framework of open dialogue.
Legal measures will be taken against any attempts aimed at misleading the public and damaging the company's reputation through the dissemination of groundless information, - says the official response.
