EFFECT.UZ article After the publication, the Republican "Kelajak" center official response expressed.
According to the center, during the relevant studies and re-inventory process, it became known that in previous years the number of circles and students involved in them was artificially inflated. Now, figures reflecting the actual situation are being presented.
If this information is confirmed, it means that serious questions will also arise regarding the reliability of reports from previous years. Because the activities of educational institutions may have been evaluated, reports formed, and relevant decisions made based on those indicators.
However, the center's response does not provide specific figures confirming this claim, results of the re-inventory, regional discrepancies, or audit documents.
Therefore, an open question remains: how many students were artificially inflated in previous reports? In which regions was this situation identified, and who is responsible for it?
The center also stated that more than 21,500 children from families included in the Social Register were exempted from parental fees. This is, of course, a socially significant measure. But this information is not sufficient to explain the decrease of 209,919 registered across the republic.
Also, the center emphasized that payment amounts were established by Resolution No. 776. However, the issue we raised is not the existence of the resolution, but how the increase in payments affected parents' ability to involve their children in circles.
Furthermore, the information that 9 directions and 62 types of circles have been approved does not mean the final result. The main criterion is how many children are involved in them, how many regularly attend, and the reason for the reduction in coverage.
Thus, although the center's official response explained some questions, it has not yet fully revealed the reasons for the sharp decline in children's coverage.
