The issues raised in a message published on one of the Telegram channels regarding the selection processes of candidates for the State Prize named after Zulfiya in the Andijan region were reviewed by the Committee of Family and Women.

The following was stated regarding this issue.

First, in evaluating candidates for the State Prize named after Zulfiya, the number of diplomas and certificates is not taken into account, but rather the significance, practical results, benefits brought to society, and recognition at the national and international levels of the achievements attained over the past three years.

The selection and evaluation of candidates are carried out by the relevant commissions on the basis of the requirements of the current Regulation.

Second, all women aged 14 to 30 who meet the established requirements can become candidates on an equal rights basis.

A candidate's employment in a particular state organization or past activities does not give her any additional privileges during the selection process.

Decisions on selection results fall within the competence of the relevant commissions. Persons assisting in organizational and technical work do not have the authority to make decisions on the evaluation or selection results of candidates.

Third, the recruitment of employees to the central apparatus of the Committee was carried out in the manner prescribed by law, on the basis of an open competition and interview. These processes are confirmed by relevant documents.

It is worth noting here that the employment of staff in the Committee and the selection of candidates for the State Prize named after Zulfiya are independent processes from each other.

Fourth, starting this year, in order to digitalize the selection processes, the ayol.gov.uz electronic platform was launched.

Currently, candidate documents are being entered into the system by responsible employees. In the future, in order to reduce the human factor and make the processes even more transparent, technical opportunities are being created for candidates to independently upload their documents, view the entered information, and make corrections if necessary.

At the same time, it is an important task to create equal conditions for all candidates in the processes of accepting, checking, and evaluating documents.

For the Committee of Family and Women, the fair assessment of the labor and achievements of every talented girl is of principal importance.

The Committee supports public control in ensuring the transparency and impartiality of the selection processes. Appeals based on specific facts and evidence will be considered in the established manner, and if cases of law violations are identified, appropriate measures will be taken.

The main criterion of worthiness for the State Prize named after Zulfiya is the candidate's talent, knowledge, initiative, honest labor, and concrete results created for society.
