Residents of the «Ayronchi» neighborhood in Karmana district, Navoi region, appealed to responsible organizations regarding the work being carried out within the framework of infrastructure projects.
The residents' appeal asks to pay attention to the work being carried out within the framework of the «Sustainable Rural Development» project implemented with the participation of the Islamic Development Bank, based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 18, 2021, No. PQ-5246.
One of the main issues in the appeal is asphalting the roads. Within the project, it is planned to asphalt roads with a total length of nearly 15 kilometers. Preparatory work began in April 2026, and asphalting work started on September 5.
According to the residents' information, work has been completed on approximately 3.7 kilometers of road so far. At the same time, it was stated that construction work is not being carried out regularly, with workers working for one day and then taking a 5–7 day break.
The appeal also asks to investigate the extent to which the work provided for in the project regarding water supply and 0.4 kV power supply in the neighborhood has been completed, their compliance with project documentation, and the fulfillment of obligations by responsible organizations.
The residents also requested that the allocated funds serve the interests of the population, that the work be completed on time and with high quality, and that clear and meaningful answers be given to their appeals.
