Uzbek citizens working abroad can now submit appeals through the “Online Mahalla” platform if they encounter problems. When necessary, the ambassador personally visits the citizen to protect their rights and work on finding a solution to their problem.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that protecting the rights and interests of our compatriots working abroad is a permanent duty of the state.
The Head of State called the citizens working abroad true and courageous people who labor for the sustenance of their families and the future of their children.
“Every compatriot of ours working abroad is a truly courageous person who works tirelessly for the sustenance of their family and the future of their children. They are also our citizens, our children!” said the President.
According to the new mechanism, our compatriots who encounter problems abroad can leave a message through the “Online Mahalla” platform. If necessary, Uzbekistan’s ambassador abroad will visit the citizen and take measures to protect their rights and resolve their problem.
“Not a single compatriot of ours laboring abroad should remain left alone with their problems,” the Head of State stressed.
Additionally, governors have been assigned the task of creating conditions for the prosperous living of the families and parents of citizens working abroad, and for their children to receive a quality education.
As the President noted, every compatriot of ours, regardless of where they are, must live feeling that behind them stands their Motherland which supports them.
Now the crucial issue is how promptly the appeals arriving through “Online Mahalla” are reviewed and how the problems of citizens abroad are practically resolved.
