In the city of Tashkent, the quality of atmospheric air is being monitored 24 hours a day under an enhanced regime.

Automatic stations, mobile laboratories, meteorological, and satellite data are being utilized for this purpose. Additionally, raid measures are being carried out in a 24/7 mode.

A working group consisting of 42 specialists from the Environmental Police, regional departments of the Environmental Committee, and the National Environmental Monitoring Center was formed. So far, 43 facilities have been inspected. On the night leading to November 4, 15 facilities in 7 districts of Tashkent city were reviewed.

Instrumental measurements regarding PM2.5 and PM10 indicators were carried out at 10 control points in Tashkent city and region. No cases of exceeding the standards were detected.

30 large construction organizations were issued warnings to take measures to suppress dust.

131 category I-II enterprises and 7 thermal power plants in Tashkent city and adjacent areas were given instructions to reduce emissions by half.

Furthermore, local authorities were given tasks to regularly operate fountains, collect and recycle plant waste, wash streets and roadside areas, and clean up sand and dust.

In addition, measures to prevent the open burning of leaves, branches, straw, and other plant waste have been intensified.

The accuracy of daily forecasts regarding air quality stands at 88–92 percent. 24-hour ecological monitoring is continuing with the help of mobile gas analyzers and unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to specialists' forecasts, weak winds and temperature inversions, which cause the accumulation of pollutants in the air, may persist until November 10.
