498 billion soums embezzlement accusation: Former energy minister's case sent to court

The case regarding a major financial crime in the energy sector has been sent to court. In this case, former minister Jorabek Mirzamahmudov and other individuals are accused of causing 498 billion soums in damage to the state.

It is reported that within the framework of the case, Jorabek Mirzamahmudov and other individuals are accused of embezzling a total of 498 billion soums of state funds. According to Effect.uz source, Mirzamahmudov's brother has also been arrested within the framework of the criminal case.

This situation raises serious questions regarding management in the energy sector, the use of state funds, and the monitoring system over them.

Especially at a time when problems related to electricity and natural gas supply persist in the country, reports of major financial violations in the sector further intensify public attention.

How much did the accusations of embezzling state funds in such amounts affect the problems in the energy system? Have the management and control mechanisms in the sector performed their duties?

Of course, the evidence presented during the trial and the legal, impartial decision of the court will clarify these questions. The accused are considered innocent until their guilt is proven by a legally effective court verdict.
