The number of people finding jobs abroad through private employment agencies has increased fivefold in two years. Now, it is planned to fully transfer the task of sending citizens to work abroad to the most reliable agencies in the private sector, and to incentivize them for the results of employment.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev touched upon the changes in the activities of private employment agencies and new tasks in the field of labor migration.
As noted, after the licensing procedure was simplified, the number of private employment agencies tripled in two years, and the number of citizens who found jobs abroad through them increased fivefold.
At the same time, it was emphasized that mistakes, corruption, and cases of deceiving citizens have also been observed in the sector. To eliminate existing problems, a separate law was adopted and the legal basis for the sector's activity was created.
According to the new procedure, starting next year, the task of sending citizens to work abroad will be fully transferred to the most reliable employment agencies in the private sector.
In this case, an incentive payment of 1.5 million sums will be paid to the agency for each citizen placed in a high-income job.
To prepare youth for working abroad, part of the technical school buildings will be provided for rent free of charge. The social tax for teachers and experts attracted from abroad will be set at 1 percent. Necessary equipment and gear for the educational process will be exempt from customs duties.
Also, the activities of private employment agencies will be fully transferred to a transparent system, and their ratings will be maintained.
In this case, the agency's activity will be evaluated not only by how many people it sends abroad, but also by whether the citizen has secured a specific job, their rights are ensured, they earn a high income, and have guaranteed social security.
The President instructed officials to submit a draft decision aimed at taking the activities of agencies to a new stage within a month. Furthermore, the task was set to view the activities of private employment agencies as a social service and simplify their taxation procedure accordingly.
From now on, the main criterion for agencies will not be sending a citizen abroad, but providing them with a decent job, a high salary, and guaranteed working conditions.
