Effect.uz has received a new audio recording related to IMARAT DEVELOPMENT. In the audio, allegedly belonging to entrepreneur Marat Khamdamov who has been at the center of company-related disputes, discussions include the future fate of the company, obligations to clients, and issues of changing the brand name.
In the audio, Khamdamov addresses a person named Jasur and states that due to the current situation, he finds it difficult to go to the company office and communicate with clients.
“At the present time, I cannot go and talk to some clients... You saw the situation yourself, the situation has gotten out of hand. I am now ashamed to go to the office,” the audio says.
Nevertheless, he stated that he could help in the future through excursions, assignments, interviews, and other formats.
One of the most notable aspects of the audio is the discussion about changing the company brand.
According to Khamdamov in the audio, one of the easiest ways might be changing the brand name. However, he emphasized that doing this right now might cause concern among people.
“The easiest way is to change the brand name. But not now, without alarming people. First, deliver the projects now, then change the brand name, and gradually you go your way and I go my way,” the audio says.
He also stated that after the previous projects are delivered to clients, it is possible to make a public announcement about the company name and his departure from the company.
“After delivering the places... the first stages must be announced anyway. Because it is better for yourself so that there is no misunderstanding among people,” he said.
This audio has brought the previous conflict back to the agenda
This audio is spreading against the background of previous conflicts between Marat Khamdamov and Jasur Azizov. Previously, Marat Khamdamov claimed in video messages on social networks that certain partners tried to seize IMARAT DEVELOPMENT from him, and that pressure was exerted on him and his family members.
In particular, he also mentioned situations related to Jasur Azizov and stated that there is a dispute regarding founders and management in the company. At that time, these claims were circulated as Khamdamov's personal statements.
He also claimed that the company name was changed from “Imarat Development” to “Imtiyaz” without his consent.
The case is currently under investigation
Meanwhile, the situation has moved to a legal stage. According to the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department, on November 1, a criminal case was initiated against the management of IMARAT DEVELOPMENT under Article 168 of the Criminal Code — fraud, and Article 192-11 — abuse of authority by an official in a non-governmental organization.
It is reported that the case was initiated because the company promised to build certain residential housing in the city of Tashkent, but later it was discovered that one of the projects was being implemented in the Kuyi Chirchiq district of the Tashkent region, and some buyers demanded a refund of their funds.
On November 2, Marat Khamdamov was detained in accordance with procedural order. The Internal Affairs Department reported that M.H. and J.A. were detained within the framework of the criminal case. In open sources, it has not been officially disclosed whether J.A. is specifically Jasur Azizov.
On November 3, the Mirobod District Criminal Court issued a decision to apply a preventive measure of detention against Marat Khamdamov. The investigation is currently ongoing. For this reason, any accusations made against Marat Khamdamov and Jasur Azizov cannot be considered as having received a final legal assessment by the court.
Most interestingly, in the new audio circulating on social networks, unlike Marat Khamdamov's previous statements, a different approach is expressed regarding the future of the company, changing the brand, and his departure from it.
When and under what circumstances this audio was recorded, who the individuals in the conversation are, and the context of the full audio recording have not yet been confirmed in open sources.
