Vacant land plots in reservoirs and adjacent territories are allocated through electronic online auctions.
By Government Resolution No. 609 dated November 5, 2026, the regulation «On the procedure for organizing tourism services in vacant non-agricultural land plots in reservoirs and adjacent territories» was approved.
The regulation establishes the procedure for organizing tourism services in vacant land plots in reservoirs and adjacent areas, as well as placing tourist and recreational facilities.
Accordingly, when organizing tourism services, the following mandatory requirements must be observed:
organizing a rescue service or establishing duty on a contractual basis with professional rescue structures;
complying with the rules for safe operation of small vessels and their bases;
concluding agreements with service organizations for the removal of household waste generated at tourism facilities.
Also, digital maps, online booking systems, QR-code navigation, and other digital infrastructure tools will be introduced in organizing tourism services.
When placing tourist facilities, water protection and sanitary protection zones, as well as areas with a high risk of mudflows and landslides, will be taken into account.
Land plots for organizing tourism services are allocated through electronic online auction sales in the manner prescribed by legislation.
