The issue of simplifying the procedure for using unmanned aerial systems is being considered in Uzbekistan. The President instructed officials to widely introduce drones into economic sectors, develop local production, and create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs.
Within the framework of the assignment, the experience of foreign countries will be studied, and proposals will be prepared to improve the legislation regarding the use of unmanned aerial systems.
It is planned to expand the opportunities for using drones in agriculture, construction, logistics, geodesy, and other fields, as well as to encourage their production within the country.
Thus, the current procedures regarding the use of drones in Uzbekistan may be revised and certain restrictions may be eased.
However, the exact content of the new rules, which restrictions will be canceled or eased, and when the changes will enter into force are not yet known.
