Conscience, trust, loyalty, service to the people: Minister Aziz Toshpulatov sends a congratulatory message to internal affairs personnel

October 25 is the Day of Internal Affairs Bodies Employees of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On this occasion, Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Aziz Toshpulatov, sent a holiday congratulatory message to the employees of the sector.

Today, the professional holiday of internal affairs personnel, who serve to ensure public order and security and protect the rights and freedoms of citizens in the country, is being celebrated. The Minister's congratulatory message pays special attention to the services of sector employees in ensuring peace and tranquility, maintaining public security, and protecting the interests of the people.

Dear colleagues! Respected veterans!

I sincerely congratulate you and your family members on October 25 — the Day of Internal Affairs Bodies Employees, a professional holiday that has become a precious and noble tradition for all of us, as well as on the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Today, I express my deep gratitude to all our dedicated employees, military personnel, professors, teachers, trainee cadets of educational institutions, and veterans who are dedicating their lives to the responsible and honorable task of guarding peace in our country like the apple of their eye and ensuring public order and citizen safety.

The bright memory of our brave colleagues who died heroically while performing their service duties, mobilizing all their energy and risking their lives to ensure the tranquility of the homeland and people, will never fade from our hearts.

Showing constant respect and honor to their family members is both our duty and obligation!

Today, forming a people-friendly and professional system that meets the demands of the times is considered one of our most important tasks.

The past 35-year period is very short for history, but during this time, positive changes worthy of a century were implemented.

Thanks to the initiatives of our esteemed President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, internal affairs bodies have been fundamentally reformed over the past decade.

In particular:

– the structure of internal affairs bodies was optimized based on modern threats, consolidated into independent departments, and a centralized management system was created;

– the service activity of internal affairs bodies was raised to a qualitatively new stage, brought directly closer to the population, and protecting the rights of citizens became a primary task in the daily activity of employees;

– primary attention was focused not on combating the consequences of crime, but on preventing it early and creating a "safe environment" in neighborhoods;

– neighborhoods were categorized, responsible leaders were assigned to neighborhoods with severe criminogenic situations, and their personal accountability was increased;

– family and domestic disputes, law violations among women and youth were deeply analyzed from a scientific perspective, and the practice of creating methodology for early prevention by studying the advanced experience of foreign countries was established;

– the system of timely identifying the causes and factors of offenses on the spot and eliminating them in cooperation with the "neighborhood seven" was further strengthened;

– public security ensuring units were transferred to a new working system, and it was established that in the future, every employee will respond promptly to citizen appeals regardless of their territory;

– direct and open dialogue with the public was established, citizen appeals were received in real time through the "My Inspector" application, and their timely and quality execution was placed under digital control;

– the activity of ensuring public security during nighttime was strengthened, and the responsibility of unit leaders for organizing night service was increased twofold.

As a result, full assurance of the rights and security of our citizens and guests visiting our country was achieved.

As a result of ongoing reforms, "New Internal Affairs Bodies in New Uzbekistan" have comprehensively improved and transformed into a professional structure capable of competing with, and if necessary serving as an example to, the police of developed countries.

At the same time, the sense of endless gratitude for the peaceful, prosperous life reigning in our country fills the hearts of each of us with pride.

Today, all reforms and changes implemented by our esteemed President in New Uzbekistan find their vivid expression in practice under the noble principle of "Elevating human dignity."

The words of our head of state: "The actions aimed at making the life of our people even more peaceful and prosperous will continue consistently as a priority from now on; issues of properly valuing the labor of internal affairs employees, providing them with modern working conditions, and training qualified personnel will always remain at the center of attention," give us immense strength while imposing high responsibility.

This trust requires every employee to ensure the rule of law, approach service duties conscientiously, and deeply understand their sacred duty to the homeland and people.

Taking this opportunity, once again congratulating you all on the holiday, I wish you robust health, family happiness, and great victories in your responsible activity on the path of strengthening legality in our society and guarding tranquility like the apple of our eye.

May our independence be eternal, our homeland peaceful, our people safe, and the honorable service of internal affairs bodies always high! Happy 35th auspicious holiday of internal affairs bodies!

Minister Lieutenant General A. Toshpulatov
