The opening ceremony of this complex, erected on the initiative of our President, turned into a grand celebration with the participation of the general public, industry specialists, media workers, and children.
Interest in science begins in childhood
In his speech, the director of the center, Firdavs Abduholikov, dwelt in detail on the importance of the complex in the development of the younger generation. As he noted, the concept put forward by the head of our state is primarily based on the idea of enlightening the youth:
"The rich heritage left by our ancestors should inspire today's young generation to conquer new horizons. For example, Ibn Sina amazed the world with his knowledge at the age of 16, and Beruni observed the stars since childhood. The newly opened venue will give our children a sense of pride in their history and inspire them towards new discoveries."
The famous British organization "1001 Inventions" also worked on this major international project. Speaking at the event, the organization's producer Ahmed Salim passionately expressed that the impact of scientists from the Uzbek land on the development of humanity was immense, and today's children are also capable of great deeds in the future.
In turn, Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education Azizbek Turdiyev spoke about the unique historical significance of this center, reminded that the complex has already managed to enter the Guinness Book of Records, and urged children to make good use of the modern conditions created.
4 magic zones of the museum: Digital reflection of history
This playground, mainly intended for children from 7 to 12 years old, is divided into 4 separate pavilions, connecting the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) system with national values:
1. First zone (Entrance part): Welcomes guests with modern animations and a special light book named "1001 Inventions from Uzbekistan to the World". Also, 8 touch screens are installed for children to test their knowledge.
2. Second zone (Gallery of Scholars): Here, the past and the future intertwine. Wax figures and digital avatars of great scholars have been created, giving children the opportunity to interact live with their childhood periods.
3. Third zone (Cinema): Historical processes are demonstrated through a 6-minute special animated film prepared using artificial intelligence technologies.
4. Fourth zone (Creativity and Science Laboratory): This is the most active department of the center, where more than 15 high-tech interactive stations are operating.
What can be seen in the science laboratory?
Each game and device in the fourth pavilion is created based on the scientific concept of a specific scholar:
* Mathematics and logic (Al-Khwarizmi direction): Children sharpen their thinking through the "Big Ball Machine" and the "Magnetic Wall".
* Physics and hydrology (Al-Farghani direction): The "Water Vortex" installation demonstrates the laws of water movement in practice.
* Astronomy (Ulugh Beg and Ali Qushji direction): The secrets of the universe and planets can be observed using a special "Digital Telescope".
* Medicine and health (Ibn Sina direction): Devices determining physical reaction and the modern ICAROS (VR) virtual reality system that trains balance are installed.
* Creativity and art: Infrared ray spray (digital graffiti), interactive "Music Wall", and colored shadow effects enhance children's creative abilities.
International security and multilingual environment
All equipment and games in the interactive museum fully comply with the requirements of the international Child Safeguarding Policy. Security in the area is at the highest level, and specially trained staff (facilitators) are assigned to assist and guide children at each station. To create convenience for local and foreign guests, all information and instructions have been prepared in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
The opening of this unique complex aroused great interest in the republican media world. The solemn ceremony was closely covered by about 20 leading television channels, print and electronic publications, as well as famous bloggers. According to experts, this project sets completely new standards in interesting the younger generation in science and high technologies.
