A delegation led by Bakhtiyor Islamov, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Center of Islamic Civilization, built on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. As the guests explored three thousand years of history and civilizations in the Center's museum, they were deeply impressed by the unconventional approaches used in the exhibitions.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Supreme Court, showed special interest in the mosaic portrayal of Amir Temur—whose 690th anniversary of birth will be celebrated soon—in the "Gallery of Great Figures" organized at the Center. Broader information was provided regarding historical facts, such as his establishment of a centralized state at the age of 35, the foundation of the Timurid Empire, and laying the groundwork for the Second Renaissance.

The delegation highly praised the expressive presentation of the 3,000-year history of statehood through bas-reliefs, miniatures, and monumental paintings featured on the 250-meter "Wall of Civilization and Discoveries" in the exhibitions dedicated to the pre-Islamic period. In particular, unique chess pieces found in the Dalvarzintepa area of Surkhandarya, created 4 centuries earlier than the chess pieces in India, left the guests in great awe.
Additionally, over 500 artifacts brought from prestigious auctions in London, including a collection of Sogdian garments and fabrics, were examined with great interest. The opportunity to virtually "try on" these garments using artificial intelligence was a modern and unique novelty for the delegation.
Bakhtiyor Islamov, Chairman of the Supreme Court:
– We received immense impressions from the center. An unprecedented work has been carried out here. The fact that it was built on the initiative of our Esteemed President further enhances the significance of this place. Our entire history and statehood are embodied here, and I think it will remain an important heritage for the entire world in the future as well. This complex is even worthy of being included in the Guinness Book of Records. If projects of this level are to be selected, I would recommend this very center first.

In the First Renaissance period section, the history and significance of the tamga featuring a double-headed eagle from the Seljuk period drew special attention. Furthermore, the exhibition for this era—famously known in history as the "Islamic Golden Age," a phase of immense rise in science, culture, and enlightenment within Islamic civilization that took place from the 8th to 12th centuries—contained 7 assembled capsules. Information about the letters sent by our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to world rulers, a picture of the Kaaba, and embroideries inscribed with inspired prayers in the first of these capsules aroused great interest among the guests.
Alisher Usmanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court:
– Even before the opening of the Center of Islamic Civilization, we looked at this place with great interest and waited for it to launch. Today, we got acquainted with the center's activities and the exhibits within it.
To be honest, what I saw left a very deep impression on me. The antiquity of our history and the greatness of our people are vividly displayed here. In particular, I once again deeply felt the contribution made by our ancestors—great figures like Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, Amir Temur, and Mirzo Ulugbek—to world civilization. Therefore, I am sincerely proud to be a representative of the Uzbek people.
It is of special significance that the three Renaissance periods are demonstrated in this center based on consistent and precise evidence. Every exhibit and every section speaks of the great history of our people.
I think every citizen should definitely come and see this place. I myself intend to visit again with my children and grandchildren. Because knowing our history and being proud of it is important for each of us.

A big thank you to those who built this place and the team operating here. Through this center, the rich history and spiritual heritage of our people are being showcased even more brilliantly.
In the Second Renaissance period section, the exhibition regarding diplomatic relations during the era of Sahibkiran Amir Temur also drew special attention. In particular, the delegation was greatly interested in the letters sent to the great Sahibkiran Amir Temur by King Charles VI of France, which placed special emphasis on issues of friendship, trade, and security between the states.
The "Pillars of Statehood" composition located in the "New Uzbekistan — Foundation of the New Renaissance" section opened up a new meaning and philosophical approach for the delegation. It was especially recognized that the development of statehood, from ancient civilizations to independent Uzbekistan, was consistently and symbolically demonstrated through this ensemble.
Abduhalim Kholmaxmatov, Head of the Secretariat of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
– Certainly, I can say that every person who comes here—not only citizens of Uzbekistan, but representatives from all over the world—will leave with great astonishment. This place gives a person deep reflection: finding answers to questions such as who our ancestors were and what a great history we actually possess. As a result, every visitor leaves this place with a sense of pride.

Therefore, a big thank you must be said to the head of our state for reviving our history and presenting the great heritage of our ancestors to such an extent.
While we may have previously known some information partially, coming here gave us a complete picture. This is truly an invaluable treasure. We express our gratitude once again for such a center, which has few comparisons globally. A visit to the center led to such meaningful conclusions for the leaders of justice.
