The accounts of hundreds of farmers were unjustifiably blocked in Mingbulak. Following an inspection, the responsible employee was fined.

Problems in the activities of farms were studied by the Office of the Business Ombudsman. It was revealed that the bank accounts of nearly 200 farms operating in the Mingbulak district of the Namangan region were unjustifiably suspended by an employee of the district tax inspection.

According to reports, under the legislation, the suspension of bank operations can only be carried out by the head of the tax authority and for a period not exceeding 10 days. Restrictions beyond this period are applied only by a court decision.

However, during the inspection, it was found that the responsible employee had unjustifiably blocked the accounts of business entities in 197 cases. In connection with this incident, a fine in the amount of 40 times the basic calculation amount (BHM) was imposed on the tax official based on the relevant article of the Administrative Responsibility Code. It is noted that the protection of the interests of farms is under the constant supervision of the Business Ombudsman.
