President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh visited the national pavilion of Uzbekistan within the framework of the COP17 conference being held in Ulaanbaatar.

The guest was accompanied by Aziz Abdukhakimov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Ecology Issues and Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change.

During the visit, Khürelsükh was provided with information about the reforms being implemented in the field of ecology in Uzbekistan and the initiatives being promoted.

Issues of environmental protection, combating climate change, and developing cooperation between the two countries were also discussed.

The President of Mongolia praised Uzbekistan's environmental initiatives and expressed readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in solving ecological and climate challenges.
