IDF: More than 1,100 targets struck in Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they have carried out more than 1,100 strikes on targets in Lebanon since the beginning of the armed conflict.

According to the Israeli military, around 190 strikes targeted the Radwan forces (an elite unit of the Shiite movement Hezbollah), while more than 200 strikes hit rockets and launchers.

The IDF press service also reported that more than 380 Hezbollah members have been killed since the beginning of March.

According to the report, on the night of March 2, Hezbollah resumed active hostilities against Israel following the killing of Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Israeli forces launched intensive strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and dozens of towns and villages in southern and eastern Lebanon.

Official figures indicate that 570 people have been killed, 1,444 injured, and about 800,000 residents have been forced to flee their homes.
