Over 300 scientists, experts, and diplomats from more than 20 countries participated in the international scientific conference dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur held at the Center.

An international scientific conference titled "The Role of Amir Temur and the Timurid Civilization in World History and Culture" took place at the Center of Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan in Tashkent on the occasion of the 690th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur. This forum was organized upon the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and in a short period, it has transformed into an influential international scientific dialogue platform.

More than 300 scientists, experts, diplomats, and public representatives from over 20 countries attended the conference. Among them were representatives of international organizations and scientific centers such as ISESCO, the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, IRCICA, and the Al-Furqan Foundation. The conference was organized by the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Center of Islamic Civilization, with WOSCU participating as a partner.

During the conference, the personality of Amir Temur and the place of the Timurid era heritage in world civilization were comprehensively discussed. In particular, scientific reports were presented in areas such as state governance and diplomacy, military strategy, architecture and urban planning, and the development of science and education. Specialists evaluated this period as an important stage of the Eastern Renaissance, paying special attention to its impact on the development of global politics, economy, and culture.
