Personal and mobile receptions are being held in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to establish an open dialogue with the population and effectively review citizens' appeals.

On September 24, a regular personal reception was held by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel Ramazon Ashropov.

During the event, 128 appeals from 138 citizens were reviewed. Of the appeals, 68 related to investigation and inquiry, 25 to pre-investigation checks, 11 to the actions of employees, and 24 to other areas of internal affairs bodies' activities.

Some of the receptions were also organized in an online format, and appeals from citizens in Navoi and Kashkadarya regions were received remotely.

“Whenever we are appealed to, our answer is «at your service». However, even as the head of the department, I do not have the right to interfere with the decision made by the investigator. Article 236 of the Criminal Code states that I can only exercise control, not interference. It must be known that the inevitability of responsibility is always ensured,” Ashrapov said.

32 appeals (25 percent) were positively resolved on the spot, and legal explanations were provided for 34 appeals (26 percent). 62 appeals (49 percent) requiring additional study were forwarded for execution and taken under control.

As reported by the Ministry, personal and mobile receptions aimed at open and direct dialogue with the population will be continued systematically.
