The Ministry of Construction building located in the center of Tashkent was sold to the private sector for nearly 200 billion soums. The auction winner is Hamkorbank.

As reported, the Ministry of Construction building was put up for auction again and this time purchased by Hamkorbank for 196.6 billion soums.

The property is located at the intersection of Abdulla Kadiri and Abay streets, in the Orda residential area, which is considered a strategically and commercially important location. Several major bank offices operate around the building, including Turonbank, Agrobank, Uzpromstroybank, Aloqabank, Asakabank, and BRB branches. Additionally, the Tashkent City complex is located close to this area.

According to information, the total area of the buildings is 11,725 square meters, and the adjacent land plot covers 0.48 hectares. The facility is equipped with all essential engineering communications — electricity, gas, water, and sewage systems.

The starting price of the lot at the auction was set at 187.2 billion soums. At the end of the bidding, Hamkorbank was recognized as the winner with the highest offer of 196.6 billion soums.

Recall that this property was first put up for sale in November 2025 as part of the privatization program. At that time, the “Uzshakhar Kurilish Invest” company had won with a bid of 182.4 billion soums.
