GoTürkiye projects receive international recognition

Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) uses cinematic storytelling and digital projects to highlight the country's tourist destinations. Through GoTürkiye projects, the agency conveys Turkey's diverse travel opportunities, rich cultural heritage, and unique lifestyle to the international audience in a modern and impressive way. This approach has also received international recognition. Among more than 100 finalists selected from 25 countries, the "So Turkish, Go Turkish" campaign film, as well as the "Antalya Gambit" and "İstanbul My Love" mini-series, won high awards at the US International Awards 2026, one of the prestigious competitions in the field of creativity and communication.

“So Turkish, Go Turkish” — best campaign film

GoTürkiye's film "So Turkish, Go Turkish" won the Silver award in the "Corporate Videos — Country Promotion" category at the US International Awards 2026. Since there was no gold award in this category for 2026, the film took the highest place in its category.

This film was jointly produced by TGA and Turkish Airlines, and it reveals Turkey's rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and lively atmosphere through storytelling. Created under the motto "So Turkish", the film showcases everything from the majesty of the Hagia Sophia to Cappadocia's enchanting hot air balloons, evening dining on the Aegean, and the incomparable charm of the Bosphorus.

GoTürkiye mini-series: harmony of storytelling and destinations

Produced on the basis of cinematic quality and engaging stories, GoTürkiye mini-series continue the platform's new approach to promoting tourist destinations. Five previously released mini-series reached a wide audience on international digital platforms, recording 7.69 billion ad impressions and 4.4 billion views. Following these results, the platform recently presented its sixth project — the "Turquoise Summer" mini-series.

The mini-series also received international recognition at the US International Awards 2026. The series' first project, "Antalya Gambit," won the Silver award in the "Online & Social Media — City Promotion" category. "İstanbul My Love," which reflects Istanbul's vibrant atmosphere and romantic charm, was awarded the Finalist prize in the same category.

"Antalya Gambit" is a mini-series combining drama and cinematic storytelling, introducing the viewer to Antalya through the story of art curator Lara and mysterious architect Deniz. Spanning ten episodes of two minutes each, it captures the city's turquoise bays, resorts, ancient monuments, and lively urban atmosphere. Thus, Antalya's nature, Mediterranean cuisine, and rich cultural heritage unfold alongside the plot.

In "İstanbul My Love," Istanbul is not just a setting for events, but becomes part of the story itself. The romantic plot is built around the journey of a young woman named Istanbul and a businessman named Tan in search of true love. Through locations such as Çırağan Palace, Galataport, the Bosphorus, and Beyoğlu, the city's vibrant atmosphere and unique landscapes are highlighted throughout the story.
