During the presentation special attention was paid to issues of improving the quality of education in higher educational institutions, adapting curricula to the demands of the labor market, and strengthening cooperation between science and production.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Education and Science Erkinjon Turdimov got acquainted with the presentations prepared by the heads responsible for the higher education sector regarding the current situation in the system, ongoing reforms, and future priority tasks.

Important areas were also discussed, such as creating proper conditions for students, helping them acquire deep knowledge, learn foreign languages, thoroughly master their chosen profession, apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and assist them in finding a job in their specialty after graduation.

Issues of increasing the scientific potential of higher education institutions, supporting the activities of professors and teachers, implementing the results of scientific research into practice, and expanding international cooperation were also in the spotlight.

The main goal is to transform higher education not just into a system that issues diplomas, but into an environment that nurtures youth as independent thinkers with deep knowledge, thorough professional training, and mature specialists in their field.

During the presentations, special emphasis was placed on the need to deeply analyze existing problems, develop specific proposals for their solutions, and connect the defined tasks with practical results.
