A new complex consisting of a modern dormitory, dining hall, administrative building, and sports ground has been put into operation for the employees of "Uzbekneftegaz" working in the Muynak district.
On September 9, a grand opening ceremony was held for the new social complex built for employees in the "Uchsoy" settlement of the Muynak district, where the main facilities of the Ustyurt Gas Production Directorate are located.

The complex includes a 144-bed dormitory, an 80-seat modern dining hall, an administrative building, and a sports and wellness ground. It is aimed at creating proper living and recreation conditions for specialists working in remote areas.
The event was attended by Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz", Farhod Ermanov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Baxtiyar Meɻlibekov, Khokim of Muynak district, veterans, and industry representatives. During the event, the "Three Generations" stle was also unveiled.

— Today we are not just opening a new building or a stele, but we are leaving a mark of deep respect for human labor and the continuity of generations. Just as there is no building without a foundation, there is no profession without a mentor, and no future without the past. Regardless of who works where and under what difficult conditions in the system, our work to create decent conditions for every employee will consistently continue. Wherever mentors are valued, human dignity rises, respect for labor and confidence in the future are strengthened, — said the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" opening the event with an introductory speech.
During the ceremony, veterans who have contributed to the development of the sector for many years, employees of the Ustyurt Gas Production Directorate, and employees of the Ustyurt Mining and Geophysics Party of the "Ustyurt Geophysical Expedition" branch, who took 1st place in the "PROFNEFT" international professional skills competition held in Russia, were awarded valuable memorable gifts and honorary certificates from the Chairman of the Board.

The guests familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the complex. The festive event around the banquet table organized in the new dining hall continued with a concert program by the national folklore ensemble "Aydin" of the Muynak district.
It is noted that 98 percent of the Ustyurt region, with a total area of 110 thousand square kilometers, is considered a promising oil and gas-rich territory. Geological exploration work here began in the 1960s. During the years of independence, 25 gas condensate fields were discovered, and in 1997, the Ustyurt Gas Production Directorate was established to systematically manage the fields.

Currently, 939 workers and employees work at the directorate. The enterprise efficiently operates 13 gas and gas condensate fields and 299 wells.
