Binance Academy launches free educational course on safe use of crypto assets in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, 2026 [date]. Binance's educational platform Binance Academy is launching a free, locally adapted training course titled «Safety in Using Crypto Assets» in Uzbekistan. The initiative aims to help users who are just getting acquainted with crypto assets gain basic knowledge about digital assets and learn how to use relevant services safely.

The new educational initiative will help beginner users understand the rules for working with crypto assets in Uzbekistan, the basics of security, and methods of protection against fraud.

The course explains the specific aspects of regulating the crypto asset market in Uzbekistan, selecting licensed service providers, rules for protecting accounts and funds, as well as ways to identify the most common fraud methods.

This initiative is being launched at a time when interest in digital assets is growing, while the need for simple and accessible education remains. According to a survey conducted by Binance in July 2026 in Uzbekistan with the participation of over a thousand respondents, 30.2 percent of participants consider the lack of knowledge to be one of the main factors hindering the use of crypto assets. Another 21.9 percent are concerned about losing funds. The results show that existing barriers are related not only to access to technology, but also to a lack of knowledge and confidence in using it.

The issue of digital security is also relevant on a broader scale. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the number of crimes committed using information technology increased from 863 in 2019 to 58.8 thousand in 2024. During this period, the number of such crime types increased from 18 to 62. The share of cybercrimes in the composition of all registered crimes increased from 6.2 percent in 2023 to 44.4 percent in 2024. According to the ministry, 98 percent of cybercrimes in 2024 were related to bank cards. These figures show how important it is to increase digital and financial literacy.

«As digital financial services become part of our daily lives, acquiring knowledge is becoming one of the most important factors in ensuring security. A user must not only understand how crypto assets work, but also know how to check the reliability of a service provider, protect their account, and detect fraud. Our goal is to make this practical knowledge understandable and accessible to users in Uzbekistan», Binance representatives emphasized.

From regulation to protection against fraud

The course has been developed taking into account the specific features of the Uzbekistan market and is primarily intended for people who are just getting acquainted with digital assets. Educational materials are presented in local languages in a simple and understandable format.

During the course, users will learn:

how the crypto asset market is regulated in Uzbekistan;

why it is important to use licensed service providers;

how to safely use Binance services in Uzbekistan through the locally licensed partner COINPAY;

how to protect accounts, personal data, and funds;

how to identify common fraud schemes and suspicious offers;

what basic safety rules must be followed when working with digital assets.

COINPAY is included in the official register of licensed service providers in the field of crypto asset turnover of the National Agency for Prospective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The agency has also published clarifications regarding the procedure for residents of Uzbekistan to use the Binance platform through a locally regulated model.

No trading operations are required to complete the course. The user first masters the educational materials, then takes a short test to check the acquired knowledge. Users who meet the program conditions can receive a reward in the form of USDT after successfully completing the course.

Education as the basis of market development

The launch of the course in Uzbekistan is a continuation of Binance Academy's international educational activities. The platform provides free educational materials and courses on blockchain, crypto assets, digital security, and other areas of the digital economy.

Interest in educational materials is growing steadily. According to recent data published by Binance, more than 64 million people worldwide have improved their knowledge of crypto assets with the help of Binance Academy. The platform provides free educational materials in 29 languages. As part of reward-based educational programs, a total of more than 12.8 million US dollars has been distributed to users.

Considering the growing interest in digital assets in Uzbekistan and the formation of a regulated infrastructure in the market, the development of educational initiatives is particularly important. The new course is aimed at providing users with the necessary practical knowledge for conscious and safe use of digital financial services.
