Iran’s Ministry of Health reported that more than 400 women and people under the age of 18 have been killed as a result of US and Israeli strikes on the country.

According to the ministry, the victims include 223 women and 202 people under 18, including 12 children under the age of five. The report was cited by the ISNA news agency.

In addition, 2,729 women and 1,190 minors were injured. The ministry also said that 16 healthcare workers were killed, 32 ambulances were damaged, and 152 medical centers were affected by the attacks, while six medical facilities had to be evacuated.

According to Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, the total number of victims has already exceeded 1,300 people. As of March 10, the number of injured in the country had surpassed 15,000.

The United States and Israel began carrying out strikes on Iranian territory, including Tehran, on February 28. Iran has responded with attacks on Israeli territory and US military facilities in the Middle East.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks and called for immediate de-escalation and an end to hostilities.
